Nettie Romanzo-Smith

Performance Consultant

Nettie joined Healthy Alliance because she believes addressing social needs of individuals is a key component to accessing care and, ultimately, improving health. Nettie previously worked for the NYS Department of Health in various positions — including Data Manager for the Cancer Services Program, Program Manager for the Disability and Health Program, and Assistant Director of the Bureau of Community Chronic Disease Prevention — where she was responsible for project management and program leadership. She also previously worked at CDPHP where she gained valuable quality improvement experience as a Health Informatics Analyst. Nettie earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Ithaca College and her master’s degree in Nutrition Science from the University at Buffalo. She lives in Scotia with her husband, two teenage daughters, and two very large cats. When she’s not acting as a taxi service for her kids, Nettie enjoys being outdoors, taking walks and bike rides in her neighborhood, and practicing yoga and Pilates.
