Ian joined Healthy Alliance because he wants to be a part of a team that can help positively impact families and the health of their communities. Ian has spent the last 15+ years working with historically underserved youth and families in Schenectady and Albany Counties at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady as Program Director and then at LaSalle School in Albany as Director of Alternative to Detention Services. Ian has a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, and a Masters of Education from the University of Minnesota. In his free time, he loves to be outdoors — camping, climbing, hiking, cycling, as well as curling and ice climbing in the winter — and travel with his wife and daughter.
